A Good Girls Guide to Murder- By Holly Jackson
A Good Girls Guide to Murder is a fantastic murder mystery about a girl called Pippa Fitz-Amobi who lives in the town where Andie Bell was murdered 5 years ago. Everyone knows who the murderer is, but Pip has doubts. This story follows her exiting attempt to figure out who actually murdered Andie, and it is full of action and plot twists.
I would for sure recommend this book to anyone who wants to read it. Although this is such a great book, it does contain some adult language, so I wouldn't suggest it if you are under the age of 13.
I would rate this book 9.5 out of 10. I really hope you enjoy reading A Good Girls Guide To Murder as much as I did.
The Kissing Booth- By Beth Reekles
Elle Evans is a high school girl who has never had a single romance in her life. But all this changes when she and her best friend Lee decide to run a kissing booth for the school fair...
This is such an amazing book that I loved so much that I read four times in six months. I would rate this book 10 out of 10. This book contains some mature language that I would not recommend to anyone under the age of 12. The Kissing Booth has also been adapted into a Netflix that you should watch after you read the book.
Skulduggery Pleasant- By Derek Landy
This book is the epic adventure of Stephenie, Skullduggery and their journey to save the world of sorcerers. This is another terrific book that I would most certainly recommend to all teens looking for a great new read. Not only that, but it is the first in an entire series
consisting of many awesome books that are sure to get you hooked. I would rate this novel 8 out of 10 and suggest that you read it.
Moxie- By Amy Poehler
Vivian Carter is a girl who attends a school full of sexist guys and an unfair dress code, so she creates a feminist zine and anonymously gives it out to her classmates. But this zine starts a revolution at their school.
This is a great novel that I highly recommend it to all teens. This book does contain some mature content and language, so I wouldn't suggest it to anyone under the age of 12. I would rate this book 8.5 out of 10 and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Netflix have also released a movie version which I have watched and would recommend it to you if you have read the book.
One Of Us Is Lying- By Karen McManus
Five vey different teenagers all walk into go into detention, only four leave. They are all suspects. This is a murder mystery about four high schoolers, and they all have secrets. I would most certainly suggest this book to anyone looking for a thrilling murder mystery. Although it is a fantastic book, it does have some adult language and I recommend it to anyone under the age of 12. I would rate this book 9 out of ten.
