Everyone knows that taking a long journey can be boring. With these three exciting books you will never have this problem! All of these books are aimed for older children and teens.

The Secret Diary Of Adrien Mole Aged 13 3/4- By Sue Townsend

Adrien Mole is a 13 3/4 boy living in England. This book is his diary and it goes through a whole year of his life. Adrien experiences his first girlfriend, being bullied and his mum leaving him. If you enjoyed this book I would recommend the second one, The Growing Pains of Adrien Mole. I would certainly rate this book 9 out of 10 and it is great for anyone over the age of 12.

Let It Snow- By John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle

It is Christmas Eve and the worst blizzard in years is upon the town. Three different romance stories that interweave with each other.

The Jubilee Express

Jubilee's train gets stuck in the snow, but she meets a Stuart who later on kiss.

A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle

This story is about Tobin and his friends, Angie (nicknamed The Duke) and JP. They go on a thrilling journey to get to Waffle House after getting a call from their other friend who tells them there are cheerleaders there. At the end he realises that he likes Angie. He confesses his feeling and they kiss.

The Patron Saint Of Pigs

Addie has just broken up with her boyfriend Jeb and was complaining to her friends. They call her self absorbed and to prove them wrong she promises to collect a pig for her best friend. But while at Starbucks doing her job she forgets, and has to track down the pig after someone buys it.

I would rate this collection of short stories a 8 out of 10 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a teen romance.

A Little Princess- By Frances Hodgon Burnett

Sara is a rich young girl who is sent to a boarding school and lives the life of luxury. But when her father dies broke the headmistress knows she will not get any money, and forces Sara to become a servant. I would rate this book a 8 out of 10. It's a great book for children over 10.
